Common troubleshooting topics
Reminders are not firing
If you are not receiving phone notifications for upcoming vaccines or schedules, the most likely cause is that notification permissions have been restricted. To fix this:
- iOS: Go to Settings > Maggie > Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled. Allow alerts, sounds, or badges as you prefer.
- Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Maggie > Notifications and confirm that notifications are turned on. Some Android manufacturers have additional battery optimisation settings that can block background activity -- check "Battery" or "Battery optimisation" for Maggie and set it to "Don't optimise" or "Unrestricted".
After adjusting permissions, open Maggie and navigate to any upcoming schedule entry. The reminder should now be set for the next due date. If reminders still do not appear, please contact us.
Restoring a Pro subscription
If you have subscribed to Maggie Pro and the features are not showing on a new device or after reinstalling the app:
- Open Maggie and go to More > Account.
- Tap "Restore purchases".
- Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you originally subscribed.
If the restore does not work, contact us at support@maggiepethealth.app with your account email and the platform you subscribed on. Do not share full payment details by email.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app:
- Go to More > Account > Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. This action cannot be undone.
Your data will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app.
If you cannot access your account, contact us at support@maggiepethealth.app and we will process the deletion manually.

We aim to respond to all support emails within one to two business days. During busy periods it may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience and will always get back to you.
